Mr. BOHICA
Does anybody have any insight into Weber DCOMs? I understand that they replaced DCOEs and that they are supposedly more reliable, but there isn't a lot of information about them on the internet. I read somewhere that the jets are interchangeable between the two but wanted confirmation before I started buying them. In my quest to learn more about carburetors, I have recently taken apart a DCOE and partially took apart a DCOM and noted that they are different on the inside. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Just the latest version of the Weber DCOE. The redesign is more than 10 years old now. Quote Link to comment
Mr. BOHICA
I have both types and switched the jets. They appear to be the same, but I can't verify because the car isn't currently running. The accelerator pump looks different from each other. I will take some pics and post them up for anybody who may have some questions regarding the two. Quote Link to comment
Radim
I've got a set of DCOMs as well, they're for the most part DCOEs with a diaphragm pump like a DGV. Quote Link to comment
