Slappy707 Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 So instead of finding all the linkage i would originally needed going from SU's too weber downdraft i just decided to go the creative and use what i already had and this is what i ended up with ended up cutting up and welding original mount to hold the throttle linkage on the right spot(came out pretty good i think) Got the throttle position cam(idk if thats the correct name) off of a friend celica I think it was for his cruise control linkage ...fit perfect and was small enough to clear everything. drilled a hole and hooked up return spring Still a few things left to finish this week including a choke not sure where to mount inside car any ideas appreciated also seems like the accelerator pump is clogged or not working right on the carb any ideas on a quick fix (timings been checked and vacuum advance is working) gonna try to post a video tomorrow of what it's doing to give you guys a better idea of what the problem is Carb runs good tho and actually have alot more power then expected Quote Link to comment
