poor-mans-720
New to Ratsun, but none the less excited to be here and meet some of yall. I have a 720 KC 4x4. Its my daily driver and weekend 'beat it like it owes you money' truck. well I have had it almost a year, and now its time for upgrades. looking for a Weber 32/36 more importantly a clutch. Truck has 260,xxx on it and figure this might be her second one? Maybe stock, I doubt it. I was also curious if any one has done one, and would like to help me out? Got some good skills with a grill and fine taste in cheap beer... Really, I just can't afford the 400-500 installation fee... Figure this might be an opportunity to have a BBQ and meet some of the members. Link to comment

izzo
Man, if i was in puyallup i would totally help you out. But i moved away from there back in 08. Clutches are easy. I paid like 110 dollars for my clutch. wasn't bad. Disconnect battery Remove starter Remove drive lines Drop the trans Remove old clutch Remove pilot bushing and install new one (optional, do it if you got it) Remove old throw out collar (some people call it a bearing) Install the new one throw out (LIGHTLY) grease the bearings in it. Put the alignment tool in the splines Put the clutch disc on Bolt the pressure plate on (criss cross your pattern when tightening) Shove the trans back on Install drive lines Install starter. Drink beer and look at some titties. Find Pumkin dave on here, he would help you out for a good price. Link to comment
