OK, so after a lot of driving, I have a 76 Z 2+2 with a body in good shape but no engine...and an 83 zx parts car with an engine that has 240k on it but sounds good when I fire it up. First step, spend a few hours rearranging the garage so I can get at least one of them in there biggrin.gif

Now, I'm getting really excited. The PO of the 83 told me the clutch was gone. I figured I would replace it when swapping the engine and trans to the 76. What didn't make sense was that the clutch pedal had no resistance at all. Turns out the reservoir was empty so I refilled it and bled the line...clutch works as designed. There may be a leak some where but the clutch works fine. Drove the "parts" car up and down the street a few times. Not bad for $400!
