btdub Posted June 5, 2011 Report Share Posted June 5, 2011 Hey there my datsun brothers, I just picked up a pair of sparco seats for my 510. I know sparco has the universal seat mounts and I was wondering if anyone had employed this set up in their 510 w/ out any cutting or modifications to the stock floor mounts. Rotary510 Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 I have done Sparco, Corbeau, etc...you have to create an "H" custom rail plate to then bolt on to the existing seat frame rails on the car. I have never had to modify the actial rails on the car, you make the custom brackets for the seats to match the simetry of the stock bolt mounts. Its about a 3-4 hour process per seat, a welder and some 1/4" - 2" wide steel pieces. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
