Topher88 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 OK so i am at the stage where i need all the clutch stuff and throttle stuff for my SR20DE. From what i have read is that the stock SR throttle cable is to short and a ka is to long so what some people do is just figure out the length you need and go to a junk yard and find a Japanese throttle cable that has the right ends and right length so is that what i should do or is there some model of car that fits like a glove. Now when it come to the whole clutch system from what i have read is that for my 5 speed trans from an SR20DET will fit up to a 240 slave and that hooks up to a 510 master with no surprises. this is my first time doing this and i have just started my research so please bare with me on this. Do i understand this stuff correctly? is there anything i am missing or am i just a complete noob that need to stop polluting the Datsun pool that i envy. Quote Link to comment
