mudge Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 Okay, I got it to where it's a great driver. The last thing I need to do is get the driveshaft rebalanced. Color is torquoise Black interior, immaculate except for drivers bucket Miles...81,000, original New clutch, clutch master and slave cylinders New driveshaft w/replaceable u-joints New brake master cylinder Rebuilt the carb myself, needs a tweak 4 speed tranny, shifts great up and down w/new shifter bushings Great glass Everything on the car works.....everything! This is a great running , rolling, museum piece. It's original right down to it's Bowman/Astrosonics radio. The only things it needs are: A new interior shift boot, vinyl A new passenger side rear brake cylinder. It sticks when you let go the e-brake. I have a set of new ones I bought a month ago. Repair to the trunk lock. Some moron beat the old one out and tore up the sheet metal. There is some battering on the valance behind the license plate but with the plate on you don't see it. The motor is tight, doesn't burn or leak oil. Radiator looks new. Motor is 100% complete right down to the EGR valve and pre-heater hose. Fresh oil and coolant. Has a new but not installed water pump. I bought one just because. I need to take more pix of it now. Most of the pix I have are of when it was dirty and faded.
