NCRmtrsprts510
im planning on buying a tube bender from JD2 (JD Squared) for building roll cages, exo cages, bumpers, maybe even a chassis. wondering if anyone has used their Model 3 bender? (that is what i plan on getting, with the 1-1/2" tubing 6.5" radius, 180 degree die.) I downloaded their software, and it is pretty simple to use, it took me about 2-3 hours to build this just messing around with some basic numbers and measurements. Quote Link to comment
Dimerforlife13
I've used the model 3 bender, we built a full race cage in a bug, multiple tube bumpers, sliders, it did great. Just remember to put some thought into where you mount a baseplate, and keep those dies oiled, and you mind as well pick up a tubing notcher at the same time, well worth the investment...Good luck -Brett Quote Link to comment
baseten
Thanks for the software info. Had no idea there was a free tool out there like this. I'll Probably end up buying one of their notchers and borrowing a bender from a friend. Quote Link to comment
