620 longbed

I came across a 620 longbed today with a dismantled L20b(U67 head that looks like new sitting on the block) 5 speed and pretty rust free, a few dings here and there but nothing major. Are they scarce(im not sure what year it is) and is their anything i should check closely? Pics tomorrow,

I dig the look of the long beds.

 

Check the usual - rust in the floor pans, around the window openings, below the cowl, and the corners of the bed. Have a look at the frame - check for areas of rust, or buckled metal, or hammered-on spots which would indicate crash repair.

Thanks, I raced that bike for 6 years. Loved that thing. A friend just offered me a RC51 motor for an adventure bike project, but I think it's too big/fast for what I want.
