WTB: Weber 32/36 or stock Hitachi

Recommended Posts

I have had so much trouble with my current hitachi. It is out of a 1973 620 L16, and Is so old and worn out that I have given up on it. The damn thing keeps sticking up at high idle and getting horrible fuel economy.

I would like to buy a new stock hitachi, but if the weber is available, I'll take it. I'm trying to avoid the same original problems, so it is preferred that the carb is in good shape with a rebuild sometime current. I'd like to spend around $170 or less. Thanks everybody, I need this soon, this is going to be my DD when my Dad gets back from Germany in a week.

Check out National Carburetors, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida. They have the rebuilt Hitachis. I think they call them DAT-612. They have a web site that list their carbs. I think they are $159 plus shipping. I have had good runs with their carbs. Their ph. # is 800-634-2272. Do a google search for National Carburetors.
