The 2 carbs are 46mm Hitachi SU's. they appear to be complete and clean. asking for the carbs $100 if interested in both please make a fare offer. memo Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 why used his kid as on excused to sell those parts? are non matching pair, the manifold is datsun, but the carbs used a different type a manifold the flange is square no datsun type. wrong info I see this ad before in craigslist 2 months ago. stilltwisted Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 memo its all datsun parts ,,but the carbs are l6 z {240-260} and the manifold is l4 {l16-l18} ,,the main problem is that the linkage will need to be home made as the carb butterflys open the opsite way ,,and the linkage will bind ,,so some cable will need to be fabed up,,and to get the carbs to seal well there will need to be manifold to carb adpater made Link to comment
SSS510 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Share Posted November 21, 2009 Those are probably round tops from a 240Z, more air/fuel! I had a set up like this on my car and they ran GREAT!!! It was just a pain fabricate the linkage since they open up the opposite way! But it's a great and cheap performance upgrade!! good luck on the sale! Link to comment
