Rudejester510 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Share Posted May 24, 2009 So years ago, the guy who got me into 510's used to build these engines. He would use an l series head on the z22 lowers. He always said there was a reason for the L series head, but Ive forgotten what it was and he no longer is with us? Anyone know the reason? I would assume flow, but while lookin at a z22 head and some books...I would think the z head flows fine, maybe better. The z is crossflow and the L isnt.
