  1. My stock one went bad last year, I didn't have another factory original to replace it. True to form the aftermarket only lasted a year. I am just making sure I'm not causing more failure.
  2. I am changing the ignition coil on my 79 620 and need to double check my work. I placed the BW wire on the + and L on the - . Is this the correct polarity for the IC?
  3. I got the Koyo radiator in last week and took it out for a couple of cruises in the local area. It worked as well as could be expected. I would be willing to recommend it as a replacement. Its not a perfect fit, I had to put 3/8" spacers in so as not to have to grind the upper lip on the core support.
  4. I noticed that after a short ride in my car ('70 510) there was a stream of gas down the side of it. The gas was apparently coming from a leaking gas cap. After inspection the old cap was kinda loose and the rubber grommet had seen better days. So, I went to NAPA and got a replacement. After installing the new cap that wasn't that much tighter and another short trip, it is still leaking..... I'm not sure where to go from here. The tank is vented and it has a newer fill tube. What else to check?
  5. I need to replace my leaking factory radiator. I want to buy a quality one and see that some of the nice builds have installed Koyos. Any recommendation as to where to purchase one. I live in the greater Portland area.
  6. Looking for the proper size and/or part number for the e-clip that retains the shifter pin.
  7. Mike, Do you have pics of the residual valves and where they are located?
  8. Tried Rock Auto, you get a message their no longer available
  9. I have three 15/16 master cylinders of unknown condition. I have searched high and low for rebulild kits to no avail. I took them apart to assess, clean and put one properly functioning together. I'm questioning if this is possible. It is after all brakes and safety is first when done. Are rebuilds of BMC's reliable? Does anyone know where they could be rebuilt?
  10. Both steering wheels look good! Go true baller - install quick release hubs and switch to fit the day.
  11. I tried glass beads but wasn't getting far. It mostly hazed the finish where it wasn't chipped away
  12. What is the most efficient way to remove powder coating? My engine mounts are scratched and chipped from a previous install and need refinishing.
  13. The threaded plug in the bottom of you intake is 3/8 BSPT-JIS. I was able to purchase hex drive plugs from Advanced Hydraulics Supply in Portland. They were the only ones that carried them in stock.
