Hey all. The guy who owned the truck before me disconnected the reverse gear wire from the gearbox - it looks like should be a plug in connector straight into the outer casing of the gearbox... all that is left is the remains of the connector. Anyone have to fix this issue before and know what part reference that would be? Thanks.

I've decided that this hardtop doesn't fit with my future plans for my 521 truck. As such I'm putting it up for sale. I believe that this may have come from a Toyota 620, but the guy who owned the truck before I did thought it would make a great addition for weekend camping etc. The 521 truckbed is 1470mm x 1900mm (57 inches x 75 inches) and it fits pretty snug around the top edge. The hardtop is approx. 750mm high (29 inches) above the truckbed when mounted. He's made a few adjustments to the lower edge to accommodate the tonneau cover toggles, but it fits neatly with 4 bolt-holes. Clearly it's got a fair amount of age-related patina - but I've never seen one like this (research hasn't revealed MacLAB as a vendor - address seems to suggest Australian heritage?!?) but for someone interested in converting their truck into a weekend camper this would be an easy lift on/off - its not heavy but needs two people to manage the lift. It will need some paint/prep in order for it to fit on a finished truck - but the fibreglass construction is sturdy and outer finish is good - so would finish and paint well I think. All glass elements good - including sliding side windows! As its UK based - I would suggest this is an advert for us Brits only... unless someone stateside really wants it in their life and wants to arrange for shipping... I'm open to offers - please DM for a chat.$750

Hey all - new to this forum, so apologise if this topic has already been covered. As I have kids who will be riding in my Datsun 520 truck, am wanting to fit 3-point seatbelts from the lapbelt that is currently fitted (and given the general poor quality of driving here in the UK - for my safety too!?!). Has anyone found a way to attach the high level shoulder seatbelt point to the cab pillar? Also do you think there is enough room behind the bench seat to locate an inertia reel? Just w3anting to get some advice before I start looking for new belts. Any recommended vendors who ship to the UK appreciated. Thanks.
