    Fuel Filler Leak

When I fill my tank and fuel creeps up the fill hose to shut off the pump, I get leaks coming from where the filled hose meets the top of the tank. It leaks a lot for a moment then stops. This makes me think there is a leak in either the breather hose area or the fill hose. Are either a common issue? I am trying to track it down but I can only see when its actively leaking, then fuel dries up and I can't see where its coming from.
  2. A long shot but do you still have a spare tailgate? I am looking and close-ish to Raleigh.
  3. My hair is touching but I can sit up straight. Like I said, its doable for my intentions- short trips. I probably look silly driving, though.
  4. When I test drove it that was the biggest concern but its not too bad. Its a little snug but its do able. Just want to see if I can squeeze out an inch or two somewhere.
  5. Hey folks, I am the new proud owner of an single cab, base model '86 720. I am also 6'5". I can fit and drive the car but my knees are a little tight on the wheel. I want to look into ways of getting more room. My first guess is to drop the seat down and/or find room to push it back. Second idea would be to get my hands on a tilting steering column. Maybe changing out the bench for some bucket seats? Every little bit helps, even if only an inch or two. I can't be the first w this predicament, but having trouble finding a similar forum post. Any ideas?
