  1. K so I put in new alt old one was bad put it on and sparked like hell when I connected wires to the back of alt. Black one I could attach white/red would spark
  2. Hahahahhaha mahalo nui Palala. I'll do this
  3. Ok will get the alt tested. Yea sucks keeping in throwing money at this thing
  4. I threw old regulator out it was completely corroded. Battery is 11.8 not running running I get 12.3
  5. New voltage regulator, new battery, alternator is showing 13.8v off the positive post on alt but battery is only at 12v. Also the charging light is on in cab on dash board but if I rev up engine the charge light will go out but once back down to idle charge lamp comes back on.
  6. Has anyone purchased a 3 core aluminum radiator off eBay for their 620s?? I’ve finally narrowed my overheating issue to a clogged radiator( super rusted out and jb weld all over pin holes) thanks!!
  7. Clutch fan fine, rad hose seems limp but does not collapse. Drained rad definitely blocked with scale flushed entire system. Still overheating. Note* I did not use CLR stuff yet. new find also radiator is stock and the engine was replaced with a L20 it's a 73 so stock would have been L16 if I'm not mistaken.
  8. Found a pin hole in the heater line going into the fire wall. Also my hoses seem limp(not stiff) haha, since the pinhole fix temp hasn’t gone up as high as it had been but I haven’t driven at 3000 rpm for more than 20 mins, and it still get up to about 70%.
  9. Totally off-topic I apologize but here I go anyway how do I insert an image like how you did( stroffregen motorsports). The reason I ask is because I took some photos of my gauge reading while drivin .
  10. Right on thanks so much that’s a lot of very great info I will start and get back to you folks when done!
  11. What a Gem!!! What did you pay if I may ask??
  12. So I got my 620 running and it purrrs!! Only problem is that at highway speeds (over 40) it starts to get hot and if I stay at 40 or above it goes into the “red zone”. At idle it does not over heat at all. I have an electric fan as well as stock fan, both work. Also new thermostat and fresh coolant.. maybe tome for a new radiator?? Anyone got one for sale!!?? Thx
  13. Got it and it’s in!!!!!? thank God for ratsun.net!!! And brother Bill (ztrain) he’s the man!!!!! Got my 620 moving again and I couldn’t be happier!!!!!! Extremely grateful and so happy thanks to everyone who had things to say, who commented, who gave me information, and inspiration I needed it I was about to give up.!?
