thank u guys and ya my dad is a painter so he has the stuff to do it and im just gonna paint the outside shell for right now i think im gonna spray it a flat black should be starting it tomorrow.

but right now i dont have the money to get a paint job my dad and i sanded my car and did all the body work we were gonna get some primer and spray it out this week so my car could be a solid color but i have been ready some other forums and people have said instead of priming it and leaving it to prime it and buy a cheap paint and go over it would that be a smarter idea instead of leaving just a primer on it. thank u

ya my dad called a body shop and they sell a primer and a hardener for 150 and he alson just looked at a regular metal primer that was cheaper but im thinking it would be best to save up and get the expensive primer.

ya we have a spray gun we were gonna buy a gallon or two and spray it out.

Not anything usable in the usual driving speeds and it may even lower torque in this range. Any gain is quite high in the rev range and amounts to a few hp. (maybe) Noise, no matter how sexy sounding is not power. If your muffler is in good shape just leave it. If replacing anyway try to find another that is larger or with larger inlet/outlet pipes and can be adapted to your system. If replacing the pipes, have the down pipe from the motor increased by 1/4" in diameter and a new muffler on that.

ya i have to replace it it has the stock original muffler and its all rotted out so i just bought the cherry bomb.

im not going for the ricer sound im goin for more of a muscle car sound.

i have a glass pack on my truck and i like it...when your on it is loud but at cruise speed it is deep tone

ya my brother just got one for his 88 ranger its sounds really good. plan on putting mine on soon cant wait to here it.

Good luck. worse case if you don't like it you can always use if for maybe a pre silencer and then add a muffler like the super turbo or borla or magnaflow or dynomax. this way it can tone it down even more and not hurt performance

alright i will keep that in mind so do your think the glass pack is gonna hurt the performance of the car.

that is why I suggested the super turbo. cheap, good flow, not loud or obnoxious. borla or dynomax straight through design mufflers are nicer but sometimes can be loud. pretty much now at days all my cars have super turbo mufflers on them. have done dyno comparisons on many cars and muffler variations and never see a monstrous gain or any from a superturbo to a straight through design. but hey up to you if you are set on it then go for it
