HI
Could anyone please tell me if there is a difference between a 720 4x4 and a 720 2x4 rear diff center ,, does the 4x4 have a limited slip rear diff ?
Thanks
It is really random this rust stuff,,, The bumper is very straight but it is a different bumper from my young fellas 2x4 720 of the same year,
I dont know what its like in the USA but bits for these things are getting hard to find
I see what you mean now about the rear springs after buying this Queenland Rainforest modified 4x4 dato,,,
Its quite bizzar that i have beeen looking high and low for a drivers side window glass and 4x4 springs for ages and found this thing 3 klm from home.
We tried to buy just the parts but they made us take the whole car whats left of it,,
I did a bit of work on the 720 tray today,, 30 years since I have welded anything even though I did a trade as a fitter and turner it still took a bit to get it again
Still have to do the head board and timber,, Fitting 3 bmx bike clamps and 4 concelled tie down points
Have to unbolt it and turn it over for welding on the bottom side
Hi Guys
Is it true that the rear springs in a 4x4 720 are straighter than the springs in a 2 wheel drive 720 and will lower the back of a 2x4 720?
Do they just fit straight in?
great reading your build post.
Hopefully having a running v6 still in the donar car may help with a few of the problems you faced,
Love the yello truck:)
