Funny thing, The neighbor tried to say that you hit my 72 VW bus...haha, He was all, it was that guy that parked the trailer with the truck on it, I seen the whole thing, he was saying...I started laughing and said, dude, thats my truck on that trailer, an I seen the damage to the Vdub before he even came around the corner. Dumbass is all I was thinking in my head. After an hour of questioning them, I finally got it figured out. An older guy in a cadilac escalade backed into it the night before and didn't now what to do so he left. I got his full name and phone number tho, so we will see what happens. Glad the trip went good, hope you have a good time with the engine swap. gonna have to keep me posted and put up some pics so we all know it really happened...haha.

Yeah the pictures don't show the bent front frame piece. It's worse than it looks in the pics. If this happened in OR, yeah I would fix the truck. Out here in Crappy MT. There are maybe 2 other 620's in town, an there not that nice, lots of rust an dents, and 1 in a wrecking yard, with absolutely nothing worth pulling. I already sold the truck to Mr. herculesinwyoming. He will make good use of the truck. I'm good with that. I think I'll get a good daily driver for now, than look for another Dat later on, maybe a 510.

Yeah, that was way to much to read....haha I do still have the truck registered in OR, because I have a CDL an a residence address in OR as well as MT. There's no issue on the insurance side from any of that. I already came to a settlement on my truck. They could only find 1 to compare it with, it was in RI or somewere like that, an only had 77k miles on it. So I got a good settlement. The other settlement, for the injury's and medical bills are gonna take longer.

I agree, I was pissed. I couldn't believe how bad my truck was. Felt like hitting a brick wall, but damn it did some damage, an her truck was barely damaged.

Herculesinwyoming, So I was kinda hoping someone would be interested in it for parts or something, Unfortunately, even though it looks great in the picture, the windshield is actually smashed in the top corner. I did just rebuild the top end of the motor, I'm sure you remeber that. There are some good parts on the truck, I would have to sell it as a whole truck. I'm gonna need to buy it from the insurance company. Nothing has been settled on yet, so PM me and let me know what your thinking is a fair price for a parts truck. Thanks everyone for the support

Wrecked my 620, when a lady decided to come out into my lane to cross 4 lanes off traffic, between two big suv's. Of course I couldn't see her trying or thinking of doing this, an at the time I was at the bumper of the suv, she all of a sudden was right in front of me....blah!!! I slammed on the brakes, but it was too late, full impact right into the side of a stationary Dodge. It was like hitting a wall straight on. Frames bent, front parts are bent up, fenders are smashed into the doors, raidiator is toast, A big mess. Of course the insurance is calling it a total, an sense i'm out here in F-ed up Montana, there is no point of trying to save, or part her out....Sadness

Thanks for the info ggzila Got everything put in the right place, She started right up after getting fuel. So after a little adjustment to the carb, I put the ugly air cleaner back on, attached the hood and opened up the garage door to half an inch of snow on the ground...Damn I hate living here. I took the truck for a drive and it was awesome. The truck runs better than it ever has. Ran smooth, seemed to have lots more power, but because of the snow I couldn't really get on it. Now the truck will sit till the snow milts, probably in May...lol
