Hi folks. I am still here, just been busy recently. Thanks again for all the advice and welcome. As some of you have mentioned I don't have a big choice around here. The one Z I was after turned out to be piece of junk and completely different than what the pictures were showing. Another one showed up, also automatic but with the red interior and unfortunately above my budget, so I will keep searching ;) You won't get rid of me easily... Re: Automatic - Body condition is my priority if i will find an automatic with a great body condition I will go for it and will think about swap after. If I get lucky and find one with manual, well that would be awesome.

Thank you for all the replies, much appreciated. Old "Z" are very hard to come by in here. I came across one since ages and my interest build up. Answering what I want from the car - I'd like to rebuilt it and keep it. It will be a second car besides daily. Lol. Ireland is definitely friendly place to visit and live in. I am Polish myself living here for over 10 years. Unfortunately I can't say much about how irresistible Irish women are as I am married for almost as long as we live in here. My wife is Polish too.

The sad true about availability of anything car related in Ireland is that anything out of ordinary and for any vintage car have to be imported. I wasn't asking about availability in Ireland, just overall. Thank you for the answer and welcome :)

Hello everyone, I am new here and thought it would be nice to introduce myself. Looking back at my car history - I have always owned a German car. I have lurked here for some time mostly watching Z builds especially 280zx builds. Looking to build one of those and I am searching for some answers. I recently came across one for sale 83' 280zx 2+2 auto and here comes my request. Can someone point me in the direction of 280zx model comparison. Is the 2.8L auto a good engine worth to look at or the manual or 2.8 turbo is a better choice? What to look/check for when buying one? Any help much appreciated... Bartek/Burner
