  1. Dude....That is super badass. Nice work! I have been looking down that same rabbit hole and I am all in. By chance did you make a jig, or do you have a NAD (Napkin Aided Drawing) drawing to share? :)
  2. oh yeah, i forgot to add that you must trim the lip that would normally mount to the chassis....then drop in place. Will definitely post pics of that ocurance in a couple of years :)
  3. install rubber on glass, silicone and aluminum fixing tabs (like BRE car). Got that tip from an ex BRE employee. Thanks re: car. your project is coming along nicely, i have enjoyed the thread! :)
  4. decided to weigh the bare chassis (including cage) today. with dolly weighing in at approx 50 lb, i am coming in at 680lbs. I have removed all un-needed tabs and i don't think there is too much more i can remove. with all stitch welding complete, will begin POR 15 of floor this week. w00t!!
  5. Got the A-pillar gussets welded into place. I am pretty stoked with the way it looks.
  6. 5/8" tube bungs from chassis shop, chop OE LCA, form box to suit, weld, hammer, weld.....need to add clevis' for ARB drop links next and then off to plating....one more thing checked off the eternal list...
  7. I used .500 x 1 on the straps, i like the less 'chunky' look under the can....
  8. Still going.... Fuel cell cage is complete. Made 14 dowels, rotobroached the 1x1 box tubing, insert dowels and TIG weld into place. box is welded into chassis, aluminum can bolts to this as well as OE sheet in trunk. Using AN hardware with jet nuts to finish.
  9. Looking good! Nice radiator....the good shit!
  10. Thanks man! It has been a slow grind. I have some work for the rear ARB and trans / diff cooler box in the floorpan....then I can finally bring car home for next phase...
