My weber downdraft wont stay running at low idle.. Any advice?

I just bought a 72 2 door and cant seem to get the weber 32/36 downdraft to idle. It will fire up and run ok at higher rpm but letting off the gas makes the engine quit. The car sat for several years so I replaced all the gaskets, cleaned the carb etc.. Any help would be awesome!
