I'm no Chevy man by any means but I don't think the pickups came with a hood ornament in '56.

It's a 1956 with a hood emblem from something else.

New leaf bushings are in. I decided that poly bushings are entirely too irritating to install. However, they are in and they are amazing. No more squeaks, pops, creaks, or axle hitting frame. The ride is much more firm and nice and it's fun to drive again. Wooooooooooooo. It's so much more shiny and awesome than the pics can show. Not perfect, but still cool.

I ordered new tires last night. Got an incredible deal from a friend on a totally new set of 215/45 BFG G-Force KDW's. Can't. Wait.

I've been growing tired of the shift knob (I get bored with them pretty often) so I might be getting another one before too long. And as far as bushings go, I've already got a set of poly leaf bushings in the shop. It's just a matter of putting them in. Nothing about my truck is comfortable and I've accepted that fact so it shouldn't be much worse than it already is lol. If I can't stand it, I'll look back into rubber.

Oh I'm always happy. Sometimes the suspension just whines like a three year old that doesn't want to do something.

That was just for fun before going to a drift event haha. They're back to normal now. But sure! Super dirty but here it is. I own this 1996 Nissan Hardbody ...no, not a Datsun, but I still feel like I can learn a lot and contribute a lot to this forum anyway.
