many thanks to those who provided info. I think I know what I want to and need to do about the El. Dizzy. Also have a (minor) problem that when I turn on a turn signal, left or right, both flash. I found a flasher available for bidding on Ebay. From Singapore, 11 WEEKS for delivery! I passed. Will also post photos when my computer geek helps me figure out how to do that.

absolutely new to this forum stuff though I've owned my '71, 510 since '76. I want to get rid of the dual points system. Where do I find an electronic ignition set-up that will fit my engine (L10)?

I am brand new to Ratsun and though a '71 510 owner since '76 it's only been a few months since I've chosen to do more to make the car a daily ride. I've heard that I can put an electronic ignition on this car to eliminate the dual points distributor. Is there such a unit for a '71 and where do I buy it? Putting it in would be question #2.
