i completely agree 100% however a solenoid housing broken off of the starter main housing forced a complete replacement, but at 59.99 im not complaining too bad. haha, i did find the right and wrong way to replace it though, that nice little hole between the body and frame would have been sweet to know before i started removing the carb, but its a lesson learned and this car is completely new to me, and anyone around me to be exact. loving every minute of it!!

im ITP off 85 where 400 merges/ends, want to meet up sometime? datsun weekend? im helping my buddy build his 240z currently, its completely gutted, i mean completely. thats why ive got my goon!!! im set, i almost bought a 521 but this vert is too rare to pass up. quick update, got a starter installed, old one was toast. engine wont crank, did a quick timing chain inspection, tension is good, L-bracket in place, im hoping the rings are just rusted. its soaking in PB blaster for the weekend hoping to update next week, this car already has lowering springs in the front and blocks in the rear, ready to go!!!

Just picked a roadster up, it's a '70 paint is real bad bondo on the hood but otherwise solid car!!! I'm super stoked about this thing!

what all have you done to the rear suspension? as far as notching the rear floor, shocks, leafs? thanks love that ride height

finally, back in action, sold my bimmer and got a bike with it!!!! on another note, replaced my MAF sensor and the goon lives!!! and man it moves!! made it to a local car show last weekend and it was a huge turn out, the 510 was the only one there among a sea of Z's....i felt special!! haha awesome. Im looking for a grill to trade for, just a plane jane one, nothing special, also looking for a roof rack!! thanks guys if you have let me know

she is down, motor running issues, wont rev over 2k rpm sometimes randomly, found my IACV sticking, but not sure thats everything. ahh, ordering and IACV hopefully soon, im so tempted to carb this thing
