My sisters laptop broke. So I am looking a combining the two. She has a better processor, but you have a better video card. She also has a better harddrive. Just looking at what can be swapped and what cant be.

not sure on the cpu but the harddrive should be able to if its a newer sata one.

I looked it up, the CPU is socket PGA478, same as the CPU my sister has which is a Core 2 Duo T8100. The Inspiron 1545 did have the option for the T8000 series.
