16x10 pro comp steelies.. still debating on how i want to flare the front. and sry to everyone for my horrible grammar and spelling and everything else.

fab shop didnt design anything i did myself.. and like i said if it breaks ill redesign do i understand that there is hours and hours and life times of designs yes i do and no i dont think im immortal.. do i fear wrecking the car no i dont.. will i test everything yes im going to.. people seem to think im going to take it to the freeway and open it up which isnt logical.. yes spring rate is changed by the angle.. and as of right now they do work with no binding.... i really dont mind the negativety since people seem to think i just wont listen and that my design is horrible im just willing to try something because it is different if i can get it to work then pat on my back if i cant then i cant but id rather break it then just scrap it and always wonder what if.. from some of the postes seems like people think im just an idiot or ignorant.. i thought about what i was doing and that it was something that hasnt been done thats exactly why i want to try.... i started my build as a complete truck and just had plans of making it run now my vision has brought me to this.. a whole lot of people thinking im just a kid not listening.. ive read everything and have started doing more research on top of what i already have done just because of what you guys have posted.. I dont want to lose the oppertunity on here to learn things which i have already.. or to ask for help on things because of what people may think of me as of this posting.. ill post more pictures in the day time of what it looks like.. and something posotive i guess i got my wheels today =) and the fab shop is steelrunner metal fab..

i dont mind the comments.. i built everything out of the fab shop i live at.. nothing was just random metal i had to use i chose from steel we have on the racks.. and as for the springs those werent just laying around i chose to use those.. ive had mixed opinions.. do i think my design will work when im done i do.. not saying its going to last but im sure it will work.. if i have to cut everything off i will.. =) and i think some people have missed the times ive said it isnt done =) and nothing is finish welded. so design changes can be made and some possibly might be. =)

yah i plan building a good mounting structure for the base of the springs.. the links are inch and a half 095 wall thickness.. im more worried about bending those.. the welding im not concerned about.. i have a couple of ideas in my head for fixing the side to side movement that im going to have.. i dont know anyone that races but have alot of off rod friends theyve been shooting me ideas and i work for a body shop so ive been talking to techs.. right now the up and down movement of the axle with the springs is ok its smooth.. stiff but smooth...

i know its a little extreme but once i have all the odds and ends tied up i think i can make it work.. only thing im worried about is my driving cause i rally everything so im sure ill break bend or snap something off and have to build it stronger.. when i have supports where they should be it might change some people minds.. ive had bronchites <-- dont know how to spell that.. so i havnt been able to work on anything.

I will add guseting and everything to support the crossmember and the bar holding the top of the springs.. i know its going to have very little rebound or "spring" going down the road but that was the point when i started building.. if it rides like a dump truck it wont bother me.. and as for side to side movement i just havnt had the time to add anything else =0 but its coming.. i do enjoy the posotive and negative feed back as for design ill change things after i do this and brake something..

my reasoning is because im always building something different lol.. i got the truck and started removing things and what was in my head has become my truck as it sits now =)

so i have a couple night shots of my suspension ive been working on.. the random peices of metal are just tacked to hold things in place =).. ive also rebuilt the entire motor new seals, pistons, rings, bearings... everything=) the coilover springs are off my buddies 96 240sx.. as of right now its super stiff the way i wanted it so theyll most likely get used permanent.. fuel cell is going to be either 1 or 2 kegs.. rear end will always be open like it is in the pics just going to add 1/4 hugger fenders and some universal trailer lights. wheels are getting swapped out for pro comp steelies 16x10..cab is fixed from when i posted the last time both floors and new door rubbers and window seals.. hope you guys enjoy ill try to get some better pics up.

well ive got pics for ratsun ill post up here soon i havnt been on in awhile but i think people will like the progress ive made its pretty unique.

rust just sucks to weld on at all.. ;/ id say let it puddle a little longer to idk if its the angle of the pic just looks like it was a cold washed.. and i like mig cause its faster but i enjoy stick welding just cause its always fun.. i find it amusing getting the rod stuck trying to start it.. =) but i like your truck.. thinking of doing a 4x4 at some point in the future.

id check everything if your shotting for performance.. ive always made sure there isnt vacum leaks or old hoses about to break.. replace easy gaskets get rid of oil leaks... im rebuilding mine cause the motor is just old and tired... and im sure it will feel fast as shit when im done lol... =) but id make sure everything is running at its peak before you spend money to make it quicker and break something. =) just what i normaly do on any car.
