Yenpit!!! What an outstanding guy! He went above and beyond, helping me identify the correct parts I needed and was extremely patient with a newcomer to the community. I got the feeling he genuinely wanted to help me out. Hard to find in person, let alone on the web! If I could buy everything from him, I would! Almost makes me want to move to Michigan... :P

@ Hobbes- Screwdriver trick is what I was doing. You think just putting in a new switch would do the trick? I do have more switches... @Mike- Thanks for the specifics! Good to know.

Thanks for the help gents! @ Hobbes- I love the color as well! It will need repainted at some point, but I plan on keeping the same color. @ Yenpit- I am super happy to finally own one of these, and one in pretty good shape at that. Very little rust, clean title, lots of extra parts (though I have found a couple missing parts), exrta wheels, engine, engine head... the list goes on. And all for a descent price too. Need to do some troubleshooting on the starter system though. Can turn the switch and get dashlights, but doesn't turn over. Will start if I connect terminals at starter with a screwdriver.

Some are blurry... shaky hands and bad camera No mirrors mounted, but they are door not fender.

What would you need pics off? I know the dash is more of the 70 style. (round speedo and ignition switch on the column). Grille is the shorter one with headlight surrounds separate. (which, again, I think is 70?)

I bought a 510 about a month ago, but I don't know what to say to people when they ask what year it is. My door jam says 10/69, but it is titled as a 70. ??? I know they had some changes between the two years... Thanks for your answers! (forgive the newb sauce I am spreading everywhere)

I can't seem to find a pair of descent door mirrors for a 510. Hardest part is finding the right hand side. I have found a couple look-a-likes, but they look like they aren't tall enough for the 510. Also looking for ones that are the flag shape. They don't have to be original, though, that would be nice. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. Does anyone know of a good place to look for these? Any advice is greatly appreciated! -Jared

Giving it one more week. Having trouble finding them even jdm or in Aus. Tons of fender mirrors, no door mirrors.

Thanks for the heads up Z Chopper! I've had a couple say they have some right side mirrors, but no proof yet.

Have a potential left side donor, are there any right sides out there?
