i'm also looking for a windshied. one that is better than the one i have (mine has lots of welding splater) if i only know these were os hard to fine i would have been more careful with the torch and welder yesterday Rancho Cordova picknpull had 3 yes three 521's in the yard i think it was the one in row 96 that had a windshield. it was not the best but if your ni a pinch it will work.

i have a radiator it looks good if you still need one i will do a leak test on it

i got one from - datsunlandsocal.com - the first one split and he sent me a new one no questions asked other than i had to send him a piece of the bad one to conferm it was bad. it seem to be a bit small was very tight dont know if that is normal

your a little late i was in lake county last week i put my old windshield back in but i would still like to get one that is better than the one i got

i emailed the website (safelite.com) they called me back in about 10 min. they said they cant get one and dont know where to try

somebody please help me. Anyone have a windshield for my 71 truck at a reasonable price I'm in Notthern Ca.

thats a good option or a v6. you will have a lot less work and may have a better power to weight ratio. the 2012 comaro v6 has 323 HP. I went with the v8 because my friend owed me money so he gave me a 318 motor and auto trans. unless you plan on spending a lot of time and money and want to go really fast don't go with the v8. by the way I think mopar is probably the heaviest and physically biggest small block engine.

THE NEED FOR SPEED its my mothers fault i was always told i could do anything i wanted if i really wanted to. and it true. just dig in an get er done. if you cant figure it out do more research ask questions until you get the answers you need. i bought this in 1975. 5 engines 3 transmissions 3 rearends later i think i got what i want. well almost. more power is just arond the corner if you have $$$$. This time around it took 5 years i quit keeping track of money a long long time ago. moved the cab back 8 inches extended fenders and hood 8 inches to match cut 7 inches off the bed and welded the bed to the cab. went from a ford 9 inch to the vett rear. i live in the hills with lots of winding roads. it handles quite well.

i bought this in 1975 it a Long Long story went from a 4 cylinder to a 318 - 383 - 440 than back to the small block 360 bored.030 over. in 2005 i did a total redo starting from scratch. it took 5 years. lots of welding cutting and just staring at the project wondering what to do next and why did i do such a thing 360 Mopar corvette C4 front and rear Susp. TKO 600 5 speed more body mods than i ever expected or could have imagined. now its near completion it was all worth it. i have no idea how much money and about 2 million hours. i don't want to steal this thread so i will stop here. soon i will do a write up.

thanks for the help car-part.com is new to me. i found a door for my other car that i could not find. the windshield i found on the ratsun fourm will cost as much for the gas to get it as the windshield is goin to cost thank to all responders.
