Sorry for the late reply.. been a little busy.. The mould will be made to make the 2 door & 4 door panels I just hope that the company heading this venture up, allmusclecarparts.com, does it right! I like to think that in todays day & age of 3D computer image generation & design, the finished product will be good, if not great, quality. Don't fear, the company making these make alot of your US muscle car panels.. They have been doing it for years.. Its a major set up.. Very Professional. AND they care about the end product..!! duraldatsun & Ratwagon1600, I commend you guys for pushing for this, as it is looooong overdue!! No problem.. Im just trying to help get alot of dormant 510's back on the road...!! They are looking into all these parts.. This was the first part made.. Just to see the interest in them.. AMCP had over 250 watchers on the first bid on ebay.. they have sold alot of those panels.. I'm excited to see these parts get made.. It will preserve the 510 culture for many years to come.. !! (sorry for the ballsup with the multi quote)

The parts as a finished sample should be ready for display @ the Datsun Day i organise each year, in Sydney, late Oct / early nov... Will definately let you know..

The cut out happens after the bar is made , prior to chroming.. So will be available for both markets.. My club has nothing to do with this venture. Its allmusclecarparts looking after all the manufacturing. Im just helping out providing as many old stock / NOS parts as i can. I have a large collection of 510's, and am keen to finally be able to get new panels/parts for them.. I will also be testing / fitting up all the sample parts, so they are all spot on before the production run.. Too much invested to get 2nd rate parts.. Not sure yet.. but i will definately get back to you when i find out..

Thanks for the post here Carter... As it says , im after a full rear 1/4 panel... Hopefully can help spawn a new era of repro 1/4 panels for the 510 !!! In a few months , we will have both bumpers in US & Jap/Aus spec. Guards (fenders), Bonnets (hood), front aprons, eye brow moulds, chrome strips under the bonnet, sill panel (rocker ?) boot lids (hood) and a few badges, door trims & maybe the 72/3 grille assembly.. I'll keep you all posted..

They are for a 71 2door 510, and a 71 wagon im converting to LHD.. (sorry i list lots of datsun's, as i have over 20 510's and 1 610 in my back yard and too many to list individually ..) ;)

If after some engine bay and dash wiring for my 510. Anyone got any floating around their garage ?/
