  1. Ok I'll see if I can get bigger spacers. Thanks for the info
  2. Ok guys the wheel stud change was a success( I'm using Dorman studs #610-403) but now I have another question. Are Drag Dr-17 wheels too much for the front stock 510 struts? They are 15x7 and I'm running spacers too but the tire rubs on the strut. Can this be fixed with an alignment or am I out of luck?
  3. LOL thanks. That's what I thought but I was not sure.
  4. I am trying to replace my wheel studs and I am stuck removing the wheel hub. I know I'm almost there but I can't seem to figure it out. I have uploaded pics of my progress. Any and all help will be appreciated.

    Weber Problem

Good news guys, turns out it was the throttle linkage that was making it rev so high. I shortened it a bit and it is now idling between 900-1200 rpm witch is good right? Anyway, now I have another problem that sounds for more serious than before. The weber is making a really high pitched noise and I have no idea what the hell that is. Any clues? Here's another video

    Weber Problem

I didn't mess with anything other than the parts that came in the rebuild kit. I'm gonna check all the stuff you just said tomorrow afternoon and see if I can find the problem. Thanks

    Weber Problem

Today I rebuilt a 32/36 weber carb and put it on my wagon. For some reason it just revs really high no matter what I do. I was wondering if any of you guys can give me a hand This is the kit I used: http://www.ebay.com/...9#ht_1265wt_250 Here is a small video of what I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjfPVW9Y8q8&feature=youtu.be
  10. This is an incredible find and for $100!! I'm jealous lol
  11. Here is my '71 goon. I finally got her running right and fixed all the electrical stuff. I'm going to safety inspection tomorrow. Wish me luck Shot at 2012-06-14 Shot at 2012-06-14 Shot at 2012-06-14
  12. Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that after giving my fuse box a thorough cleaning the goon is charging now. I appreciate all the help from everyone.
  13. It looks like all the fuses are good. The ignition battle was that I pretty much had to replace everything. New coil, new distributor and all the wiring was a mess. I followed the diagrams I found here on ratsun to hook everything up. There is 8V to the F connector with the key on 12V to the A terminal with key off. 12V between POS terminal and E I got the alternator checked at the auto part store and it was bad. The voltage regulator I bought because I assumed it was bad. I can always return it. Checking the fuses with a circuit tester lead I think I discovered a short. When I touched the flasher fuse terminal with horn terminal I heard a crack on the starter I believe. :hmm:
  14. Hey guys, after a long battle with my ignition system I finally got my wagon running but its not charging. I bought a new alternator and voltage regulator because they were both bad. I have also checked to see if my dash bulbs were good because I saw on another post that could also cause charging issues. I replaced two but it still no charge. I have no idea what the problem could so so I would really appreciate some help here. Thanks
