Just in case you wanted to see the ad in its entirety...

I mean seriously, how freakin' cool are those slot mags!? I wanted a set of vintage Ansens for my car in high school! If you wanted to be a jeremy wanna-be, throw titans on it and call it a day!

  2. That looks like PCH.

...The s10 200sx lives off of PCH. The 210 Jaime shot through his window is at Artesia and Aviation, and the ONLY place in 11,000 miles I dumped my Aprilia (on a public street). Damn padlock stuck under front wheel while braking=dammit....

  3. Hi KFD.

I have not gotten to see your Dad's Celica, but I have seen the red Z car you mention. Looks nice and the paint seems recent or great quality.

    Lots of potential.

You beat me to it, man. I was going to get some shots of the car yesterday when I saw it parked at the Mobil. I also saw that blue 210 goon. I will have my camera next weekend! My friend sent me a picture of a SSS wagon that might be floating around the south bay... I'll keep you in the loop.

  4. Hey bud.

Yes, seen that Sonnet. It is awesome. I have seen it parked by the small produce market, and also at the library's lot.

    Very cool car!!

I have seen a B210 coupe, blue, looks solid, no dents, although the paint looks old and burnt. Everytime I see it the car is going an opposite way!. Looks like an old couple or something, I want to ask them , perhaps they want to sell. It is always in the area of Artesia between PCH and the 405.

That blue B210 seems strangely familiar. You might have also seen my Dad's '80 A40 Celica running around here as well. The only other Datsuns I can think of are a 510 and a red 260z that lives east of the water tanks, and south of Mira Costa. Haven't seen the wagon though. I'll keep my eyes peeled for that when I am in Hermosa (Should be there this weekend).

  5. WHAAAAAT!?

That is freakin' awesome! What really shocked me was that the fiberglass rear window plug wasn't taken out of it. Those are hard to find. Do you remember if the car had the luggage rack on the trunk?

*What's really funny is that I remember seeing that R/T SE you pictured above at the Mopar Nats a few years back. I remember that yellow stripe any day!!!

Where in hell are you finding these... I remember reading something on Allpar about the Alpine GTs, apparently there was more than coincidence they looked similar to these...

I shot the dude an email, and I asked him about the feasibility of making a trip to Florida, and he stood by it...

I just wish I had the cash for this thing...

  8. Nope. '78 Firebird or Trans Am. Saab Sonnets (JAIME SIX-Have you seen the one that lives up on Felton and Artesia, across from the burger joint on artesia??) didn't have shaker hoods or four lamps. The White nose on it makes a Gestalt image, so at first glance the nose looks obscured. Its a blue car with a white nose.

Hey Hessianben :beerclink:. YW, man... I am on the hunt for something cool, I am glad a ratsuner got it!

  9. Hey 420n620: I couldn't tell if that was a Poncho back bumper or not. The wing didn't look right for a Grand Sport's. Yes, the car is mine, it is sitting at my parent's place in Florida. It was my high school hot rod. This is why I am really on the fence about getting a Z, because if I go to Florida for dive school, I really need a Buick Parts/Aprilia Hauler... I am going to tear it apart and give it the love it deserves! I wrecked it when I was 17 (hit a curb), and ended up replacing the frame, and putting a '69 Chevelle frame under it. I learned a lot about basic mechanics thanks to that old Skylark...

Have you even seen a VOE GTO? Super Rare factory electronic cut-out mufflers! I think they were only on the '69s...

and yep those are some of my other toys you see in the back ground.

I know it sez on your profile you have a couple of gtos, but that white car's back bumper seemed strangely familiar...

That white car doesn't happen to be one of those, does it?

  11. Valdry's junkyard, now gone in South Los Angeles...

'70 R/T SE Challenger. Legit number matching car. '56 Caddy hearse. Quite plausibly was my great grandmother's car...She lived in Gardena, not too far from then in the seventies. A few Jensen interceptors, BMW Isetta (Urkel's Car), back half of a '58 or '59 vette. He had some really, really cool shit in there. I haven't been there in years!

At the Blinn-street U-pull in in Wilmington. '65 Chevelle Malibu with an in-dash tach. Didn't think anything of it until I learned a few years later that car was a SS Z16. One of 200 or so with a 396, and the only ones that got a tach that year. Stripped out Grand Nationals, intact Jaguar V12 XJSs from the eighties, and a lot of Zs in there. Arrgh...

More like, make sure people who say they will pay your bills in bootcamp actually do, or you have pissed off bill collectors and repo men looking for you!

Soon enough. I need to haul the Aprilia to Panama City for dive school. Its down to what I find first, a 240Z, or 620. I get a 240, Its a Horror Freight trailer and a hitch...
