I am still wanting to purchase the 520 fenders we have discussed.

Seem to be working for me. I just checked the thread on a mac and a pc. Not sure what the issue might be. I'll get some Hi-Res pictures from my camera up soon.

Yea I'm still up in the air on paint. I am starting to lean more vintage, and stray away from new colors. Latest idea, is a satin red body with a gloss black hood. A twist on the old muscle car era. I hope you don't mind I used your truck as a platform for my photoshopping.

Did a little work on the doors tonight. Found some more surprises too. More random holes Free S10 roll pan that will require some major chopping and retro fitting

In the process of tracking down new fenders so at this point we are jumping around. Got the engine bay prepped an sprayed with rust killer. Next step is body work and paint Some time in its life they slapped a ton of body filler in the corner of the door. The cancer and the patch I made. It's larger to wrap around to the inner portions of the door. I'm proud of my work. I don't so this often. I don't think my customers at SPECS will appreciate my newly torn up/dirty hands.

Looks like a fun project. You are already kicking my butt when it comes to repainting the engine bay. I'm doing about the same to my 520 at the moment.

The MX520 Build, the nicest 520 around and the inspiration for anybody who ISN'T going to body-drop and bag their pickup. Thanks for posting pictures. I was going to go find your thread, wanted to see if you smoothed out all the dimples created from the spot welds on the bed sides. Appears that you did. I plan on fabricating a rollpan similar to what you have going on there. As far as color, we are thinking the silver/gray that is on the new GTR's and maybe some BRE look alike stripes in satin black I didn't realize that the single headlights were rare; I'm glad I snagged a pickup with them! I haven't decided what to do with the mirrors yet. I've been looking at some JDM 240 mirrors, could be cool? :Dunno: PROJECT UPDATE: On 2/7/12 I got the outer portion of the wheel wells prepped, and undercoated. On a previous night I had took a wire brush to it and sprayed it with rust preventative. ^ That one run is going to bother me... Good things its getting covered up for the most part by the fender

I just got around to downloading the pictures off my digital camera. I have some really good BEFORE shots. They are making me wonder why I dove balls deep into this project.
