  1. Mr King Rat, They fit they dont rub, it handles like it should. Ive made the necessary Modifications to run the rim And tire setup like this. On a stock body !! You seem to still argue that it does not work (in your eyes) My tires are not strected like the photo you posted. Form And function are still present.
  2. ya your right, you should sell your 510 and buy a volvo wagon if thats the case.
  3. i did it because it looks aggressive from the side and rear. and i love deep dish wheels.
  4. took me a while to find reps that would work but they are XXR 531s on stock front struts 16x7 with +20 is max i beleive rear with rolled fenders 16x9, my specs are maxed out though. i have less then 4mm clearance on the control arm and like 2mm clearance on my inner fender lip with a roll.
  5. the front has negative camber. but still a solid inch between the fender and tire. my front fenders are not rolled but will be trimmed so my tires dont catch the lip on steep inclines. as for going lower, i doubt it. not because of fitment issues but my downpipe is 2.5 inches off the ground and in the rear i need as much grip on the rear tires as possible. so cant go much lower (negative camber) tire and rim clear the body fine in the rear. custom bump stops to help so it does not bottom out. springs are stiff but nothing crazy. i had 3 buddys sitting in the trunk and the tires didnt rub so fingers crossed.
  6. since my last thread got locked due to some trolls. here is the installed photos like i promised. perfect fit. no flares, no rubbing, wheels dont hit on full steering lock. setup details...... front - 16x8 - 0 offset - 215/40/16 rears - 16x9 - 0 offset - 225/40/16
  7. So all car enthusiasts in japan and else where must to retarded running stectched wheels and negative camber and the good ol boys at ratsun north america are the experts that know there wheel geometry down to a tee !! We should send a few of you over there to teach them what can and cant be done on the car they produced. To the select few that gave some constructive comments thank you. The only real comments where acually the people that have tryed and tested negative cAmber and tire stretch. The rest of the keyboard jockey can have the rest of the thread. You ladys can have your safety meeting now and talk about how much you hate something youve never tryed before and know little about. Stay tuned for the other crazy shit im gonn be doin to my car. Im sure to rattle some feather. The rest of you can all run strips and libre or watanabes wheels and see how kool and original you really are.
  8. The rim fits and stretching the tire was the original plan. You and raZor ramon mentioned i would hit the outer fender and control arm etc etc and i cleared them. I can run them without trimming them. i didnt custom order these wheels either i did it not knowing how far or close i would be to the fender lip. Now to fine tune it for additional 4mm of clearance and have the rim tuck properly without touching control arm, strut or fender lip, i think thats pretty damn good calculations. Wasnt the original argument it would not tuck without flares? I will run these for the most part but i will hAve a second set on hand. For the sticky tires to go on. Have the ass lifted up and camber at 0 for that setup.
  9. 400whp acually and yes i am insane lol There wont be any week points in the rim with a light shave. Hell theres even notches and lettering ingraved 4mm deep on the backside of the wheel hub already. Dont get your panties all wet just yet. I wont be running these wheels all the time. These are for shows and pics. Ill be running a 16x8 or my 15x7 advans with some meaty tires for anything crazy i want to do with the car.
  10. also be shaving the inside hub on the rear rims (16x9). 3-4mm to add some offset to tuck the rims better. if the front need the same will do at later date. need to get my motor and crossmember in before i can properly test fit the front wheels.
  11. INDY510, 215/35/16 all around sounds a little more better. nice stretch and not so tall. more contact patch all around.
  12. 195/40/16 all around is what im thinkin. Thats the lowest profile 16 tire i can find. Unless theres A 205/35/16 available somewhere
  13. I wont be running this low front or rear but want to make sure not to hit the body over hard turns and bumps, driveways. Ill make it work. Not doing any mods to the body or fenders. Its not the ideal setup but i like it like this. My front fenders are rolled aswell.
