Guest nateoneel Posted December 31, 2008 Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 This carb is off a 78 datsun 620 with an L20B. I believe its a hitachi. I took it apart and soaked everything in Carb cleaner over night. Then blew out all the jets and holes with carb cleaner. Put it back together with a new rebuild kit. If anyone has a leaky or bad carb this is a way cheeper way to go then having a mechanic do it. The rebuild kit alone is $25 plus two cans of carb cleaner brings it to about $35 in parts.
