mr68gts Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 Got a question. I am still wanting to install a VG30DETT in my 620. One of the issues obviously is the transmission. And since I am 4 wheel drive I would like to keep that working. I was thinking of using a 5spd with transfer case from a pathfinder for a VG. but I would really not want to cut the tunnel any more than necessary and still able to keep my bench seat. Does anyone know where in relation to each other the original 4 spd (76) shifter and the Pathfinder's might be? With the truck being 4x4, I don't have the issue's of the torsion bars in the way or the engine cross member. (where the front suspension would normally tie in) And is in fact all gone from the truck as it sits now. I've considered a vg33 supercharged also but sadly I'm in love with the idea of turbos.....................and might fit better without the hood clearance issues of a supercharger.
