I've done tons of conversions on Z's so when the customer called and said he had all the parts to do his 72 510 (11/71 prod date), I didn't think there would be any problems. Unfortunately the trans cross member is nowhere near the mount for the trans. The customer claims to have bought the correct original 4 speed so it should bolt up. Pictures are worth a thousand words so here is what I'm looking at: Is this the wrong transmission? Thanks
