I might of posted my response in the wrong forum after weeks of looking for a short insert not to be found, so does anyone have any strut tubes with 2" ID that I can buy I need at least 8 inches to fix my problem. Thanks again for all who helped me with my problem.
Well I have done weeks of searching for an insert, nothing I found is short enough for my set up, I bought two inserts for my tubes but now I need a used tube so that I can extend my tube length fit my set up soooo does anyone have a used tube that is 2" id that I can buy? I'll need 8" of tube for each strut, thanks again for those who have given me input for my problem.

I'll send a picture of the insert thanks again you guys for still trying to help me through searching for days I finality found the part# for the seal kit but as I'm sure every one knows its not available anywhere.
Ok I measured the center to center of the bottom of my strut, it 82.55 mm, so my question is what insert can I install in these struts if I can't get a rebuild kit?
Yes they been shorten, I can see where the inserts where welded I pulled them apart the tube is being used as the shock will more pictures help? I am really stuck here hoping to not have to buy new struts with disc brakes.
Thanks guys for the info, I did remove the coil over thread and there are no numbers to be found, these struts have a JFZ disc brake that bolts to the five holds on the spindle mount, I was hoping to get some info it these struts are rebuild-able or I can purchase some new ones, they have sat for 10 years and leak out the top seal.

These are images of the strut that came on the car. Do these look like a 280 Z strut? Are the rebuildable? I'm searching for a kit to service them, or a place to have them serviced. Any help identifying them would be appreciated. If not any ideas on a replacement? The prior owner used them for a strut conversion of the front of a 70 duster.
Can anyone tell what strut I have I believe they are off a 240Z or 280Z I have posted a picture, thanks for your help. Well I can't seem to find where I can attach the photo can anyone help me with that
