The description on the nisssn part page you posted is incorrect.

The description says alloy wheel but that part is the acorn style for steel wheels.

Also...You would never ever use the shank style lugs with steel wheels.

If you notice I used quotations around the word shanked when I posted it the first time, because I was using your incorrect terminology as the separation of the 2 styles.

If you actually took the time to look at the 2 Nissan lug nuts they are both acorn nuts, one just has a flanged dress cap with rubber washer on it.

    Wow. Just wow.

Nevermind, just do it your way, it'll work perfectly, lol.

I swear, I have no idea why I try to help here.  I mean the guy I had to correct about D21's never having KADE's says they take 1980's style deep shanks lugs...it must be true.

  3. If you look closely at the steel wheel lugs you'll notice there is a foam rubber backing on the flange.  It's the buffer between the lug and the plastic wheelcovers that are used on the steel wheels.

  4. There are 2 styles, yes.

One for alloy, aka aluminum wheels, and one for steel wheels.

The "shanked" style are for the steel wheels, acorn for the alloy.

A simple Google image search of the lug part numbers from the first link I posted proves this.

I didn't know the Japanese were that far behind us at that time. This truck looks like something built in the 30s in the US, but very cool!

Well, a couple things that fell from the sky in early Aug of 1945 could have caused a small set back...

I have a small bag of US coins from Canby trips. I can't get rid of them here. On the road takes too long to count out at gas stations. I like to limit my exposure at stops. Maybe if I rolled them?

Or find one of these on your route home and cash them in for a gift card to use later at home/online. Bonus is no fees for cashing in coins for gift cards, there is when exchanging for paper cash.  Coin rolls are pretty much a must for exchanges in banks.

  7. You must be new here...the average buy-in of parts by these cheap asses is limited to the change in their ashtray most of the time, maybe more if they have the seats out and scrape up what's been hidden for years in the cracks.

So, no, precision made parts aren't a hot seller to most on Ratsun, lol.
