This transmission looks older than that of a 620 like the ad says it is. Can anyone identify this tyranny?

i guess nobody manufactures these for a 6 lug they would be cool to have!

Yes I replaced the the filter already fuel seems to be traveling okay. Should the fuel filter be packed with gas? I see it about half to 3/4 full most of the time.

Keith I looked into the link and I believe that kit is for a hitachi. I have Nikki will this work? I'm assuming yes since your car is exactly like mine at first glance

Fuel level is on the line. I gave it 25 pumps and immediately gas started basically pouring out from the throttle shaft and the fuel level decreased dramitically enough to give the truck a rough start like it had just ran out of gas (same symptoms as when it's running and chokes up when I'm hitting the throttle). Either way I need to be able to pump my gas pedal without losing any gas through the throttle shaft. This also explains why I have been getting shitty gas mileage lately!

Found an exploded diagram on the web it's identical to mine. It's for a J13 exc. LTU from May 68 to Jun 69. I guess it fits on the 66 all the way up to 72 maybe.

The carb has a spacer. But it looks like it just bolts right one. Could it be the original one from the 66?

The truck jerks and loses power Like it wants to go but it hesitates then goes. The engine never shuts off. The gas in the carb leaks when pumping the gas peddle I found that out today without having the engine on. 4 pumps and it begins to leak.

Does anybody know if this the standard Nikki carb that came with the 66 or is it a slightly newer carb. This one has no electrical parts

The Weber haha I know. This Nikki was working great so I'll just stick with it. I'm still running the 4 speed. It's cruiser.

Time for a rebuild?
