like i said it is a vlsd and yes they all have spider gears, clutchpacks are the ones that don't. Here is a pic that someone posted online of an open diff vs a vlsd. (VLSD is on the left) viscous is fluid based,our normal "lsd's" are clutch based.they both utilize the same idea.make plates lock together .
