I'm trying to find out what engine and gearbox mounts to use, when putting and l18 into my 74 620 that was originally a j15. Do I get the 74 l18 mounts off of eBay and bolt/weld them to the chassis or is there a mount I can use that bolts up to both?
Going to purchase an l18 and 5 speed package.
What engine mounts and gearbox cross member do I use.
And will I be able to re use my loom or grab o from something else?

A rover v8 would be an awesome package. I have been in a mgb with a rover swap.

I have the j15 as I'm in Aus and I have a 74' 620
Has anyone put an a series engine in there 620?
Would it be more worth going the l20b?
And can some one point me to a build thread putting the l20b in?

Yeah I've heard they the clearance for the fuel pump dosent work with the manifold.
Is there anything over in the US that does a carby and manifold set up that I can get my hands on?

Can't find anything good to bolt on to my j15 but have read that some people are using stuff off of MG Bs
They dance around the subject saying it does work and some say it doesn't find.
Just would like to know if anyone is using them and how did they go!
Any pictures would help.
I tried getting measurements of the ports but didn't have any luck!
Or if anyone can direct me to buying some j15 stiff because there is nothing in Aus or eBay I can buy.

Hey guys, unfortunately I've gone and lost my keys for my 620 ute.
I was wondering if there is locks and barrel I can buy or I know that some old cars, they used the same key and barrel.
I'm on Australia SA was wondering if any other owners could help me out.
