  1. It's 4:15p.m. Bart should be rolling out of bed soon.
  2. Yea the weather outside sucks, That's why I have been on here all day.
  3. Nope, Still rollin the steelies
  4. Weather is looking promising to get a little work done this weekend. Watch for updates
  5. ANytime you want to meet at Scrapin By Kustoms just let me know. The boys are there every weekend. I am always stuck alone in the garage at the house. It's at I-25 and Hwy66. You need to go see Ryan's frame for the Blazer anyway. And Troy's Body dropped 620 that isn't bagged. It's mean looking. I will bring the beer and Bar-B-Que, you bring a set of 17's
  6. Bart, where are the new pics??? I got stuck christmas shopping on Saturday so I couldn't make it up to the shop. I would have rather been standing in a warm shop shop up to my ars in Datsun than anywhere we went.
  7. Kaoss I made a quick broad statement about hydros to someone who admitted to not knowing anything. I know that with accumalators and the proper springs, hydros can ride well. Thats all I have to say, and I'm sure you will pick that apart as well.
  8. Cool man, I will give you a call if/when we get down there. I would love to borrow them for them a little bit. If the old lady likes them, we will send some $$ your way
  9. Since this thread is "For the Haterz", here is one for them...My buddies '97 that he built then sold. who know where it is now This was at Texas Heat wave back in the days
  10. I love the 17's. I would also love to see them on my truck to see how well they will tuck.
  11. Run hydrolic cylinders on the front, the fluid line runs to another cylinder in the back that is attatched to an airbag, as air is put in and out it pushes on the fluid moving the cylinder in the front end. I saw this done on a civic about 8 years ago and totally forgot about it. that would make life so much easier on the front of the 720, thank you for the reminder
  12. hydros are old skool, messy, and a really bad ride (like a skateboard). air is the only way to go for adjustability
  13. Lynch I believe that is the first thing we have agreed on. I am the same way which is why I have tried to keep my mouth shut but sometimes my fingers get the best of me.
  14. This weekend I should be able to cut the frame out of the notches and let it sit all the way down. I will have pics
  15. Eventually I am gonna cut it off the door and make it permanent with the cab, because the doors will swing backwards and I just want it gone off the door completely. I want to get rid of the b pillar also
  16. It's been really cold here so work has been slow
  17. I retract all that I said in my previous post. You are right. You do know everything, and I will go on doing what I do and cruise my truck how I want no matter if its wrong or right. That has always been the minitrucking way.
  18. What is your definition of "KNOWLEDGEABLE"? Someone who had installed a store bought 4-link one time on one truck? Some guy in the sticks that bagged his truck, opened a shop and bagged his buddy's truck? I love how you people think your "knowledge" is all-knowing. Help is one thing, and I never discredited anyone for trying to help. Suggestions are o.k. and I never hated on anyone for having them. You are right, I missed the lower bars completely in the pic, so what?! Does that make you some genius on suspensions? NO. I never claimed to know everything or that my ideas were better than anyone else's. So before you call "fail", look in the mirror, Now you know what it looks like
  19. The setup on this truck is actually a 2 from rear and a y from the front. The bags are mounted behind the rearend
  20. Layed, I understand that. There were a few guys who thought I was comitting suicide by putting a reverse 4-link on my 720, I was just showing that some big name shops do the same thing sometimes. Like I said, it doesn't make it right or wrong but it does show that there is more than one way to skin a cat
  21. I know it doesn't make it right, but if the Thorbecke's have it on their own trucks then I will trust it on mine.
  22. I will also help Bart with Troy's computer downfalls. I am going to the shop today and will take some more pics for him. That makes 4 datsuns/nissans in our little group of 5.
