  1. not sure if you have an easy registration place near you. from what i understand these guys know how to get this stuff done. a little more money but a lot less hassle. its worth a try if you have someone near by. doesn't hurt to ask. we have them everywhere here, never wait in line at the dmv. you just pay a convenience fee.
  2. i think as a buyer ebay is a great place for hard to find items and you can still get great deals on a ton of items. and you can find a lot of items without searching on a ton of places. plus its so easy. for example; i just ordered a set of leather seat covers for my truck, actual leather, front, back, headrest and door panels, all leather, brand new shipped for $234. cannot beat that. just installed them yesterday and they look great. these are the actual covers, you take off your old ones from the factory and install these. ive never had an issue buying on ebay. but if they keep at it, a lot of those hard to find items will disappear. i think their problem is that they are trying to make it a market with only super sellers and companies who sell a ton on there. they really dont care about the little guys and i cant understand that. i dont see them lasting very long that way. it would be like america without small businesses. doesnt make sense. ive seen profiles of people with millions of ratings and poor feedback and poor star ratings but they are still on there. as a small seller if you get one bad feedback r one low star rating they start monitoring you and they cut what you can sell in half, and raise your fees and so on. sorry to rant but it feels like everyone i know that used to make a living off ebay has been affected then same way.
  3. i feel where u are coming from. their new feedback rating system (the stars) is ridiculous, anything below a 4.68 out of 5 and you are kicked off indefinitely. fees keep going up and up and getting a hold of a live person is getting harder and harder. customer has all the rights and the sellers non. i have tried bonanza, works ok. get paid instantly. less traffic though. etsy and us.ebid.net work for small items. artsy stuff or anything similar. i would imagine those would be great for what you describe you are selling. fees are substantially lower and i havent had a single issue yet. just food for thought. best of luck with that. craigslist is a joke, well the people on you deal with on craigslist i should say. but it is nice for bulky items though.
  4. ive never met him so i wouldnt know. but i am treating this situation as i would with any customer. will make sure both things are handled. you guys have a good night and i will make sure to update when this is resolved.
  5. set of fiberglass will be out tomorrow. will send tracking info via email. will contact you tomorrow after i get on the phone with ebay and paypal. will cover my ass and someway get that refund over to you. im off to spent time with my kid before bedtime but will be in contact with you tomorrow. give me until 5pm my time.
  6. i did not call you a liar. read the post again. i said i am NOT calling you a liar. i am going based off the info i was given. that is all
  7. im sorry about that. didnt realize it was going to take so long. i thought they meant they had refunded you instantly. ill see what i can do tomorrow to have it sorted out. i understand the fact that you sent money for the flares. that is not what i meant. im talking about the incident in the last thread that was started by me. where i offered you a set of fiberglass flares at my cost to help you out with fitment or whatever would help speed up your build. i understand about the first set. which is how we got here.
  8. you can read on the previous thread that was locked. i said please contact me if that free set would help you. never heard from you. i would have been glad to send you that set. offer is still on the table. also i was under the impression that ebay would refund you as they have told me before and emailed me that they would. and they sent me another email today saying they did. it shows up on ebay that they already have refunded you. im just posting on here the info they have given me. i couldnt refund you unless i sent it as a personal payment. and then ebay would still refund you. as far as i know they have paid you according to them. im not accusing you of lying. im just going based of the info i have been given by them. which is why i said i will call.
  9. this is what is showing on my ebay resolution center. copied and pasted below. eBay Customer Support has refunded the buyer and the case is closed. You must now reimburse eBay for this refund. Apr 11, 2013 at 8:06 AM Final decision: This case has been decided in the buyer's favor. eBay Customer Support comments: "The case is closed." eBay's refund to the Buyer: Refund amount to bob-n-tom: $280.00 Refund date: Apr 11, 2013 Transaction number: 991467886001 Reason for refund: Item not received
  10. im sorry bob3. ebay emailed me this morning saying they had already paid you and i had to pay them. this is what they sent below. sorry if thats not the case. i will call them in the morning. if you really have not received the refund i will issue it tomorrow evening. i will email you once again tomorrow and follow up with you. Hi jdmflares, We issued a full refund of $280.00 to bob-n-tom for this case (5024209697). When we refund a buyer for a case, we'll charge your preferred payment method. However, there was a problem charging the reimbursement payment method you have on file. Because eBay has already refunded the buyer, you don't need to issue a refund to the buyer. However, you do need to update your reimbursement payment method or add a new one. This reimbursement payment method will be used for any current and future cases.
  11. i meant, why is it that not having them has set him back on his project. if a fiberglass set for fitment will help him i will be glad to send those to him. i dont have cf at the moment.
  12. look man im not sure exactly why you needed the flares, i can only assume for fitment. if that is so i will gladly send you a free set of fiberglass flares. i can ship them tomorrow express mail. i understand you are angry with me and i dont blame you. Im not asking you to forgive me or for anything. If it will help you get your project moving while you find a set of carbon flares i will be glad to do that. I know ive put you in a bad position and this is the only thing i can think of doing at the moment to help you out. please let me know.
  13. i couldnt agree more. as far as bob goes we are just waiting on ebay to close the claim and issue a refund. i have been upgrading my other customers to either priority or express mail. as far as time, i am working on more molds and trying to lay my molds twice a day right now that it is nice and hot. i am making huge progress on catching up and im shipping out many packages daily. i plan to do whatever i can to have these in stock before they are ordered so i can be more profitable and have more time. shipping at 2 to 3 times what i should be paying really takes a bite out of your wallet. Not just for me or my customers but my wife is expecting baby number two so im really trying hard for them.
  14. The time i spent posting on here is in between stuff drying. i just laid 4 sets of flares. i am prepping more molds. but in between my pva and gel coat drying it gives me a little bit of time. I am printing out labels at the moment so i am already on my computer. I cant rush the process and can only work with the molds i already have. I laid a set of molds yesterday but they have dry for a few days before i can cut them. My boxes are done, all my materials are precut, All the prep work i can do is done. This is an important topic to me so i take a few minutes in between to address it.
  15. I remember our conversation. I understand the influence forums have. This isnt a side job for me or a hobby. it really is the only thing i do for a living, which is why its extremely important to me to make things right, to get back on track and to provide not only a good product but a good and fast service.
