  1. The driveshaft and a few other minor items on this truck will be fixed soon, it will be shined up and it is still for sale. $2,000 or best offer. I do need to unload this truck.
  2. Was the 4 11 common or used only on certain trucks? This was a manual but it has been so long since I have driven it I can't remember if it was a four or a five speed.
  3. I don't know that it had air conditioning. I will check on Tuesday.
  4. Yes. When the universal joint failed the driveshaft flailed itself around and around until it became bent. It is most likely unstraightenable. It would be wiser to have a new one built.
  5. Firstly, thank you 420n620 for getting these pictures up. I am still a little new to this whole internet posting thing. Looking to sell this truck AND my 1979 non-running king cab 620. I don't wish for these trucks to go, however bills say that they must. I have enough money into the orange one pictured above (using it for a daily driver) that I won't be letting it go for nothing, but I will consider all offers. It was parked since May in storage in Central Point then I drove it home to Eugene last Thursday. Made it to Saginaw when the rear universal joint exploded at 70 mph and ruined the driveline (two piece- long part ruined). I don't want to put any more money into this rig unless I am going to void the engine warranty and do a frame-off restoration. The engine still has a 59,000 miles on the warranty and was built by Motor Crate in Portland. The rear bumper/receiver does not come with the truck as upon it's sale, it will be removed.
  6. 1979 620 king cab for sale. Mostly a parts truck, not running at present moment. Engine may still be good. Extremely rough condition. Has good title and original Oregon plates. Am asking $500 as I don't want this truck to go to a scrapper. Cab itself is in good condition, the rest of the body was "modified" by the previous owner.
  7. Daily driver, 11,000 miles on new engine (distributor, alternator, starter, radiator, hoses, fuel pump, weber carb, flex plate/ring gear, transmisson seal, carrier bearing, powder coated steel wheels, cheap exhaust). Truck has silver powder coated wheels and a chrome front bumper, no cancer, and a survivor straight body with minor dents. Slightly rough condition, but was a reliable daily driver. Automatic transmisson, needs new driveline and u-joint. Am asking $2,000 as I have over $4,000 into the truck via the engine and other components, will consider all offers. Need to sell soon. Has it's original Oregon plates for those (like me) who are into period plates.
