All, I recently rebuilt a Datsun 60 series 5 speed. Everything went together well except one piece - the reverse check sleeve. Which way does the reverse check sleeve go in? Does it get inserted with the retaining C-clip facing up or down? Thanks for the help. The manual does not picture this part well, and I forgot to take a picture of, or label, which direction is up. I looking to buy a 1979-1982 210 5 speed manual (60 series). Working condition preferred. However, I will consider purchasing a worn/broken. transmission.
