Thanks for finding and posting some of the pictures. I could not find the right code either and this is the first online picture hosting app that I tried. The I was unsure of the original factory rim color, which even by looking at green trucks with factory paint seems usually to be cream colored?, I just went with the machine grey it seemed to go with some original interior trims. The truck was painted with the factory code mixed paint. Misery n MO today...brrrrr Skink
  2. Kinda makes me regret tearing out the dealer installed a/c that looked identical to that junkyard one at the start of my build and throwing it out. The system was massive with a huge compressor mounted driver side of engine and big condenser that reduced knee/leg room on passenger side.

My 1972 PL521 https://flic.kr/p/qdk141 This is the result of a three year restoration... all original configuration as far as I know. Trying to keep with the green theme.
  5. Hmmnn ... I guess I was really lucky last year to get a windshield from the local supplier (Carsten Auto Glass) Springfield MO after my '72' 521 came out of the paint shop.. the old windshield was hazed and hard to see thru. I got the new glass $235 and seal $75 and installed all for around $370 bucks, the glass came in from Omaha, NE. good luck skinkr
  6. I removed the front windshield and gasket out of my 1972 PL521 because the windshield membrane had hazed and the truck was being repainted.... I took the truck straight from the paint shop to Carsten Auro Glass / 530 N Kansas Expressway / Springfield MO where for $213 they replaced the windshield and provided a new OEM gasket for $76 more. This was just a regular auto glass shop... the windshields are available. SkinknMO
  7. Hello... I'm in the middle of a rebuild on the 1972 PL521 mentioned above... I've repainted the truck with the stock paint match to the Body Paint code 546 which is the light green color. I've done alot of picture searches and other searches fior stock images of the truck, however almost always the rims have been changed to custom rims and no longer show the steel rims and stock color. What I have been able to determine is that the rims most likely were not the same as the body color, often on other colors of the same model and year of truck they may appear to be a light grey or a cream color or something in a beige tan.. it's just hard to determine from what I've come across.. I was really hoping that someone has rebuilt one from original and knows the stock rim color. appreciate any help skink
  8. Hi KC.. well the seat belts for the 620 drew me into the forum here... I've got a 1972 pl521 and need a set of seat belts. I believe my truck came with a shoulder belt configuration but not sure where the retractors for the belts were or if they were just non retractable... Is there any chance that the belts from the 620 would work for me.. if so I want yours. thanks skink
