I had just finished a rebuild and install of an L20b and 5 speed into the truck before hurricane Ivan arrived.I was using the huge oak tree limb to pull and install my engine. I figured if I pulled the truck closer to the tree if would protect it from flying objects.The next day when I came out to see, the tree had fallen on the truck and had pushed it into the ground.The tree was 70 years old.

Parting out 1980 Datsun king cab truck. Has good bed $30. and many other parts. Auto transmission works perfect.$50. Engine$150. runs well but needs a rebuild. All you need to do is hone the cylinders, put rings, timing set and a valve job on the L20 B engine to make a good running engine that will last a long time.L18 block+head,with parts for rebuild. gaskets, rings, bearings.$100. Will trade parts for Datsun 5 speed, Need a left tail light for an 81 Datsun diesel truck.

I have an 1800 L engine minus the, valve cover, oil pan, intake and exhaust, comes with a box of bearings, gaskets, rings etc. to do a rebuild . If any one is interested I will look through the parts to see exactly what is there for the engine. $100. As I look through my shed for Datsun parts I will be posting what I want to sell or trade. Thanks

I have owned and worked on:79,80,81,82,83 280ZX's,
a 520 truck in picture. 620,720 trucks around 10 or so, don't remember exactly.One 210, two B-210's hatchbacks,one 710 wagon, and my first Datsun I bought for $800. in 1978 it was a 1969 510 SSS California edition two door red with orange pin strip. I did not know what I had bought I just wanted better gas mileage.
