Wrecking Yard Report

Recommended Posts

Should have PM'd me i would have gladly picked some parts for you, i was there this morning grabbing pedals for Micro Machinery.

Pick your part has the junkyard listed as both in Anaheim and Stanton sometimes, it's sorta bordering there anyways. :P

I'll just say across the street from adventure city.

Interior color is black.

I saw a dude take the grill off, i guess he must have brought it back.

Now for finding a 610 Wagon and letting you guys know you have to let me know when you peep out a 620 at the junkyard!!!!

Antelope Pick-n-pull

The cars here were somewhat less molested I noticed, less busy yard. There was a relatively nice and intact 280zx, with newer good condition seats (from something else??).

What I came for though, 4 door 1978 B210. I haven't seen one in a junkyard in about 5-6 years. This was listed wrong on their online inventory.

Amazingly, found this inside.

1978_B210_Manual.jpg

For those who need parts. All glass except the rear window (broken) was in good condition. Most of the bodywork is in good condition, with the exception of the right fender (skimmed with bondo) and the trunk lid which had a dent. Rear bumper, rock guard and lights are excellent. Trans was gone along with drive shaft, engine is just the bottom end, but it was pretty clean (cylinder walls looked good) and had a "Remanufactured Factory Engine" label on the front cover. Still has the original jack, and a relatively rusty lug wrench. 3 of the wheels had the D center caps. This car had the single most rotten tire I have ever seen, the spare literally crumbled to dust when touched. The mirror is missing the glass but is otherwise in decent shape. The thing next to the light is an Italian aftermarket pneumatic horn, kinda cool.

The bucket seems to be having a server error, so I will try to upload pics again and edit this post later. I have a lot of pictures for this one. And it's working.

Sacramento Pick-N-Pull 09-11-10.

Yellow 74(?) 710.

More available here:

Engine and carb present, trans gone and driveshaft gone. Front grill looks pretty good. Fenders are decent with a little bondo, marker lights are present. Most of the bodywork is decent. Back window was broken, other glass looks okay. Rear taillight on right is okay, left is a little broken. Interior is okay, backseat is in really good shape, inner door panels (black) are all there except for passenger side, and they look pretty good. Dash has most or maybe all gauges and clock. Overall reasonably complete. I ended up buying the hubcaps.

Dguy210 or INDY510 - contact skunk or jasifras regarding the trim at the back of the hatch on this car. I know she was looking for it. The stuff between the two taillights. She has some other parts needed, but the trim was high on the list.

280zx2by2 - The lid would be the correct shape for your car, both are wagons. Also, see if the little rubber bumpers are available on the parts car, I see one of yours is missing...

What are they smoking

Did you feal a need to carry a soap on a rope whilst there?

It has gone up a lot in recent years. Breakdown is $50 hatch+ $5 core +Tax +env fee.

Today was good though, when I asked for a price the cashier said "oh the yellow wagon". He showed me on his phone pictures of his friend's (I think he said Quinn?)nice 510, said he was also building a goon. He priced the stuff I bought as much in my favor as possible.
