reeceseepoo Posted July 23 Report Posted July 23 having hard time turning on my can/am box. had the car running and idle and had all 3 light working before. now i have 2 outta 3 light working on can/am box *red light* . dont hear the the fuel pump prime. idk if i have a sort or do i need buy fuel pump relay. here a few pics with a volt tester . any info will help. thank Quote
]2eDeYe Posted July 23 Report Posted July 23 Is the ECU signaling the relay? You can pull the relay and test it off of the box or swap them around and see if the problem moves with the relay. Quote
banzai510(hainz) Posted July 23 Report Posted July 23 put 12v power on pins 85 and 86 then put a OHm meter on 30 and 87 and see if shorts . those relays hardley ever go bad even the chinese ones. Quote
reeceseepoo Posted August 20 Author Report Posted August 20 ecu getting signal , relays is also good too. i use 12v battery hearing it clicking. i also change wire too the fuel pump *14 gauge wire*. still not turning on. should i put a toggle switch to power up the fuel pump separate from the cam/am box? banzai510(hainz) Posted August 22 Report Posted August 22 I dont think you need 14gauge. why dont you ck for power to the fuel pump from can am box. this is not that hard.
